Earthquakes

This is the information that I got of the USGS website. The articles we have seen are all conflicting like where and what magnitude. Where we went to the the coast last weekend is in the area of the Quake. They say that it was most felt in the state of Escuintla and the coast which is about 60 miles SSW of Guatemala City. I checked on the map with the coordinates and the Quake center is about 15 miles into the sea from Puerto Quetzal. (the large port into Guatemala).

They interviewed some people from Puerto Quetzal and around in that area. No crops or buildings were damaged and the red cross say that no one was injured The guy from the Puerto Quetzal said that everything was really moving and swaying. I am just glad to be in the city and not near there.

The baby did not like what happened either. I am not sure if it was because my pulse was higher or if I was agitated, right after she kicked for about an half an hour straight. Like she was mad or something. I had to lay down to get her stop.
