I just wanted let you know that somethings are just not learned, they are heriditary.
Since her overdose at Easter, we have been really trying to cut back on the sweets and especially chocolate. So we had not given her some chocolate in over a week. She asks for it all the time but we just keep saying later and putting her off.
Well Helen likes to get her ice cubes out of the freezer. She gets in there, grabs one, and knows to close the drawer and the door. She does it about 2-3 times a day and has for some while. Well today, she was digging in the freezer, and finally Austin had to go over there, and get her to stop. Later today, I was busy with the boys and heard her digging around the freezer. I told her to get out of there (like I always do) and in a while she came back into the living room. Well, she had chocolate on her face. Chocolate? I didn't give her chocolate. I go hunting around the house looking to see what she had gotten into and could not find a thing. Looked everywhere. Well in talking to Austin tonight (he was gone in the afternoon when this happened), he reminded me that she was digging around in the freezer and went to look in there and found chocolate! She had a stash! Yes, my 19 month old realized that the chocolate well was drying up and stashed some for when she wanted some! Holy cow! Now can you tell me what side of the family this is from? How does this look for my future? For one, does she have the pack rat jean? and two, am I going to have to constantly be looking for stashes of things forbidden? Oh boy!

I think she gets that from Aunt Myrna as she always used to stash her chocolate where others would not find it. So habit or hereditary, does not matter, for she can just descide that she loves the stuff and will go after it at all costs. Believe me I know from watching my grandkids. lol
So, where else is the candy stashed? What a smarty girl. Wonder how she got the candy to stash...black market?
That is hilarious, Julila! Haha. She'll definitely give you a run for your money!
