The park

We took Helen to the park the other day, and I realized that I don't have to stand right next to her while she climbs around on the equipment. She can hold her own. So here is the big girl at play.

Rough landing

Seriously, every time she would slide down this slide, the static would cause her hair to stand up on end. It was hilarious. Then it would calm down the minute she jumped off. Love it.

Even on the big girl swings...no more baby.

See??? How pretty is that? (Ok, side note. I am so proud of this moment. You see, my kids are bald as get out from birth, it comes from me, and I was getting worried that wigs were in her future. well wahoo! not now!)

So cute! (of course it lasted 45 sec before she ripped it out but it was cute for the photo!)

Cobar Races

Every year they hold the Cobar Races which is like a mini version of the Melbourne cup. People can dress up in suits and fancy dresses (or not, like us). So we went to show Helen the horses. Well everyone got tired after the second race, so we left but it was still a nice day out.

What chocolate? I don't know what you are talking about.

I went on e-bay and found this little pan set for cheap. She loves it.,

I went to a garage sale and found this with a tag of five bucks, (really good condition). When I asked if it had any of the tools, she said no but that she would give it to me for a dollar. (I did not even ask!) So it came home with us. Well it looks like a tool bench but it does not have to be one.
