Ok so some how I am back on the blogging wagon. Things are starting to setting into a routine around here and both boys slept for 6 hrs straight last night. Of course, Helen woke up twice but I think that is the longest I have been in bed for the last two months.
About Helen: Helen is trying to be a mini-me. I know she loves me and just wants to do everything I do. laundry, dishes, helping with the boys, she is there in the thick of it and most of the time is actually helpful. She is still trying to get attention when the boys are crying and has started to shreek when they get loud. She has also discovered she can take of her diaper and pee (or Poo!) so we have gone to measures of constantly wearing pants and duct tape. I guess it keeps it interesting around here. She is also starting to speak! She understands a LOT of english (bring me this, sit down, go night night, etc) and is starting to speak back so I think the frustration of lack of communication is subsiding. A couple of times, she has put two words together so that is terrific. She is wanting to be so independant and since I need her to be so, it works out ok most of the time. We think she has a dry sense of humor as well since her responses make us bust up every time.
About Jason: He was once the chill lil chap, but has gone clingy. He needs to be held more and more and actually started to get more colicy in the last month. he still does not sleep for long periods at night and will eat all the time. Mr. "I could eat" is what we call him. He is starting to get better head control and work his hands a bit. He is starting to roll from back to front but that might be more of him on a slight decline to help him out. He is also starting to smile. He also looks exactly like Austin's baby pics. A true mini-me. Even the smile is the same. Amazing.
About Erik; Well the colic is staring to taper off even though he has his days. he is starting to sleep longer at night and mentally seems more on the ball that Jason. He is much more aware of his surroundings and is starting to interact more and more. He is quick to smile and is a little charmer. He is also starting to roll from back to front and seems to do it best when wailing up a storm. He can take his finger and get his binky out of his mouth (lil bugger) and the other day, rolled over to Jason and pulled his binky out. Somehow I think that was more by luck than anything else but still, amazes us. He loves baths (Jason not so much) and nekid time. That kid loves to have his junk out in the air. He does better at tummy time than Jason and his head control seems a bit better than Jason as well.
All in all they both seem healthy and happy. They did get over the dairy issue and I am back to eating dairy. Before Christmas, I ate some cheese and it was still the same reaction but then like a week later on holiday, I ordered some eggs and I did not specify no milk. Well I asked afterwards and yep there was milk but no reaction! So slowly I have been eating more and no change so I can safely say, it is a-ok from this point on.
Ok enough jabber, here are the pics.

How wonderful is this?

Hey.

Wwwwwaaaaaaaaaaa!

Oh, it is you!

who me?

yeah, you just stay down there.

Just chilling

For the sake of having just Jason in the pic

Same for Erik

The monkey, the piggie, and the lizard. Our children

What?!?! I am not related to those yahoos! (Erik)

What do you mean I am related...WAAAAAAAA!

Helen is a bit big for these but she still likes to squeeze in anyways.
