Hey happy Australia Day!

Photobucket
Ok not because I like to show my closet floor where sometimes the dirty clothing basket overfills but Helen is obsessed with this nightgown of mine. She will dig to the bottom of the basket to pull it out and wear it just like this. No matter where I hid it, she loves it. I don't know why, just does I guess.

Photobucket
Hey there

Photobucket
I am a little Australian

Photobucket
Ain' t I cute?
Ok Pics from our Holiday to Tassie are coming.

The latest and the greatest.....

Ok so some how I am back on the blogging wagon. Things are starting to setting into a routine around here and both boys slept for 6 hrs straight last night. Of course, Helen woke up twice but I think that is the longest I have been in bed for the last two months.

About Helen: Helen is trying to be a mini-me. I know she loves me and just wants to do everything I do. laundry, dishes, helping with the boys, she is there in the thick of it and most of the time is actually helpful. She is still trying to get attention when the boys are crying and has started to shreek when they get loud. She has also discovered she can take of her diaper and pee (or Poo!) so we have gone to measures of constantly wearing pants and duct tape. I guess it keeps it interesting around here. She is also starting to speak! She understands a LOT of english (bring me this, sit down, go night night, etc) and is starting to speak back so I think the frustration of lack of communication is subsiding. A couple of times, she has put two words together so that is terrific. She is wanting to be so independant and since I need her to be so, it works out ok most of the time. We think she has a dry sense of humor as well since her responses make us bust up every time.

About Jason: He was once the chill lil chap, but has gone clingy. He needs to be held more and more and actually started to get more colicy in the last month. he still does not sleep for long periods at night and will eat all the time. Mr. "I could eat" is what we call him. He is starting to get better head control and work his hands a bit. He is starting to roll from back to front but that might be more of him on a slight decline to help him out. He is also starting to smile. He also looks exactly like Austin's baby pics. A true mini-me. Even the smile is the same. Amazing.

About Erik; Well the colic is staring to taper off even though he has his days. he is starting to sleep longer at night and mentally seems more on the ball that Jason. He is much more aware of his surroundings and is starting to interact more and more. He is quick to smile and is a little charmer. He is also starting to roll from back to front and seems to do it best when wailing up a storm. He can take his finger and get his binky out of his mouth (lil bugger) and the other day, rolled over to Jason and pulled his binky out. Somehow I think that was more by luck than anything else but still, amazes us. He loves baths (Jason not so much) and nekid time. That kid loves to have his junk out in the air. He does better at tummy time than Jason and his head control seems a bit better than Jason as well.

All in all they both seem healthy and happy. They did get over the dairy issue and I am back to eating dairy. Before Christmas, I ate some cheese and it was still the same reaction but then like a week later on holiday, I ordered some eggs and I did not specify no milk. Well I asked afterwards and yep there was milk but no reaction! So slowly I have been eating more and no change so I can safely say, it is a-ok from this point on.

Ok enough jabber, here are the pics.

Photobucket
I guess in case she has any crappy ideas.

Putting together the swing

We had one swing from Helen and one day, all day, I did nothing but swamp babies in and out of the swing and I thought, I need another. So the minute Austin gets home, I say, jump on e-bay and get me a swing. Well, my mother in law is sooo cool that she had gotten one already and it was in the process of being shipped ( my life saver!!!!) So it comes, and I am like an animal and rip open the box to get it together. Well Helen was helping. Here she is, telling me what step is next....

Photobucket
Here it is, all together.

Photobucket

Now the toys go where???
Photobucket
And just for kicks, she felt off the couch and skinned up her nose. Looks like Rudolph, huh?

Old Photos

Ok so before I get shot by a family member for not blogging here are some pics. They are old yes, but I am behind. How behind you ask, the boys memory books are still in the box they came in. That should tell you that I am about 3 mos behind. So here are some photos and there will be more to come.

Photobucket
She likes pizza

Photobucket
Not sure if she likes the sprinklers.

Photobucket
Ok she does.

Photobucket
This is one of those kid leash things. Looks like a backpack like she might go to school or something. On another note, if I get these also for the boys, would I have enough guts to walk around town with all three on a leash? mmmm.

Photobucket
Daddy and Erik snuggle time.

Photobucket
Hey dude.

Photobucket
I think this is Erik asleep in the swing.

Photobucket
I just like this photo
